Privacy Policy

At Holistic Mind Therapy, we value and respect the privacy of our clients. We are committed to protecting personal information and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with professional ethical standards and applicable laws in India.

1. DATA PRIVACY, RETENTION AND PROTECTION

  • All Client information will be handled in compliance with applicable laws in India.
  • Records will be securely stored and retained for as long as required by law and internal policy, after which they may be securely destroyed.
  • Clients may request access to their records, subject to applicable laws and professional guidelines.

2. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

  • Information disclosed in therapy is kept confidential and accessible only to authorised staff and employees of Holistic Mind Therapy.
  • Information will not be released without Client’s consent to anyone outside the organization, except when legally required (e.g., law, court orders, threats of harm to self or others, or child protection concerns).
  • De-identified case material may be used for supervision, training, or professional conferences without compromising Client confidentiality and without Client’s permission.
  • Clients are not permitted to record any part of the sessions under any circumstances, unless prior written consent is obtained from Holistic Mind Therapy.
  • In the case of minor Clients, any request for disclosure of session details by parents or guardians will be carefully assessed in line with ethical and professional guidelines.
